Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in the development and implementation of intervention programs
  • Assist in maintaining discipline in the school environment through the implementation of behavior management strategies
  • Provide support to pupils to achieve learning goals, such as leading guided reading and other small group work
  • Assist the teacher with the planning of learning activities
  • Assist with the day-to-day routines of a classroom
  • Assist the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
