Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our clinical housekeeping team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness within the department environment, ensuring Infection Control cleaning is maintained in partnership with the Facilities Team.
  • Ensure efficient organization and provision of food and beverages for patients, if working in an area where patients eat and drink.
  • Ensure adequate stock and maintenance of support under direction, the ward activity to enable patient flow and capacity.

Requirements
  • Level 2 or GCSE C/4 grade or above in Maths and English Language or equivalent Assessment of equivalent level through achieving required pass mark of trust numeracy and literacy test.
  • Experience working with the public, communication/relationship skills, and being highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work to plan, adjust workload according to service demand, and manage preset stock levels.
  • Physical fitness, lifting, bending, walking, reaching, standing, and punctuality and flexibility across hours of work when required.
