Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the clinical environment is cleaned in line with national cleaning standards.
- Operate electrical machinery and clean medical/hard equipment.
- Report maintenance issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
- Assist with the curtain change programme.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and liaise with the Senior Housekeeper to develop those improvements.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
