About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Priory Group. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff
  • Line manage the senior team to ensure high standards of care and service are achieved
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and ensure their implementation
  • Support residents to live as independently as possible, including personal care
  • Act as a senior member of staff on shift and provide support to residents and staff
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with residents and their families
  • Contribute to the on-call rota and work a varied shift pattern

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a Deputy Manager role, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • DBS clearance at an appropriate level
