About the Role
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our Radiotherapy Department. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical, administrative, and clerical support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to patients and staff, including administrative tasks, data entry, and patient care.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of patient records, including accurate and timely data entry.
- Support the Radiotherapy Department with tasks such as patient transport, manual handling, and equipment preparation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the service, adhering to Trust policies and Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements
- Vocational healthcare qualification at level 3 or willingness to work towards.
- Apprenticeships will be candidate-specific based on skills and qualifications relevant to this post.
- Effective communication, team working, and customer care skills.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Able to work using own initiative, following instructions from a Registered professional.
