Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at NJR Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing designated retailer accounts, developing strong relationships with retailer contacts, and identifying and maximizing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the successful management of designated retailer account/s.
  • Budget and P&L Management: Budget and P&L responsibility for managed account/s.
  • Relationship Building: Develop very strong relationships with retailer contacts, employing highly effective and efficient communication.
  • Sales Opportunities: Identify and maximize all viable sales opportunities.
  • Range and Promotional Planning: Effectively plan and manage retailers' range and promotional calendars.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed sales vs. budget reports and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience at NAM level - working with retailer accounts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead meetings.
  • Customer Focus: Customer focused and understands importance of service delivery excellence.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated, with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical ability, working to the highest level of accuracy.
  • Time Management: Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Teamwork: Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
