KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage overall maintenance and service operations for facilities.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for all systems and structures.
  • Oversee custodial services and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Implement security measures and emergency protocols effectively.
  • Administer and evaluate service agreements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and document findings.
  • Review work completed by contractors and vendors.
  • Suggest modifications for maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility designs.
  • Communicate safety protocols to staff.
  • Manage financial and physical resources for facility operations.
  • Develop conceptual designs and proposals with detailed cost estimates.
  • Supervise project execution.
  • Ensure timely implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in preparing capital and operational budgets.
  • Review and provide feedback on operational manuals.
  • Design and implement in-house training initiatives.
  • Establish safety and health procedures in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Oversee timely corrective maintenance actions within established KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols within the facility.
  • Verify that all tools and equipment are operational and well-maintained.
  • Manage the procurement of spare parts to ensure availability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and generate reports on facility conditions.
  • Propose improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and adhere to KPIs.
  • Optimize the deployment of in-house resources to minimize waste.
  • Supervise external contractors effectively.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate business continuity risks and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Possession of a valid driving license is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in report writing.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management hard services.

Skills:

  • Expertise in engineering disciplines, providing real-time solutions in facilities management.
  • Ability to generate daily operational reports.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledgeable about relevant tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
