Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Drayton Village Care Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine checks and maintenance on systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
- Health and Safety: Monitor and respond to fire alarms, boilers, and lifts, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Inventory Management: Control and order stock, and accept and check deliveries to ensure that our facilities are well-stocked and equipped.
- Communication: Maintain good communication and relationships with other teams and colleagues, and participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Induction and Training: Assist with the induction of new staff, training them on building layout and fire policies and procedures.
- Confidentiality: Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.
- Additional Duties: Carry out any additional duties as requested by management, and participate in training and development programs to enhance your contribution to the work at Gold Care Homes.
