About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Development Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end redevelopment and cloud deployment of our core global insurance system.

This is a newly created role that will see you overseeing the transformation of our core systems to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans
  • Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to achieve programme goals
  • Ensuring the team properly defines requirements and specifications, testing, and implementation plans
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues effectively to mitigate impact to project success
  • Coordinating and facilitating discussion around key program risk areas, such as designs, scope management and more

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Experience in software development with a background in.Net, DevOps, and JavaScript (React or Angular)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies
  • Understanding of modern IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and DevOps practices
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance systems and their operational requirements
  • Prince2 or PMI - PMP certification and/or Certified Scrum Master preferred
