Production Leader - Manufacturing

We are representing a pioneering manufacturing organisation that is at the forefront of their specialist field, while continuing their growth through diversification into other developing markets focused on sustainable and environmentally friendly products.

Established over 30 years, they're a stable and forward-thinking company that is not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award-winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire.

They now seek to recruit an accomplished and ambitious Manufacturing Team Leader (days) to join their dynamic team, assisting the Head of Manufacturing in ensuring operations run efficiently and manufacturing KPIs are met, developing their team and working on a range of projects concerning continuous improvement, quality and safety, while instilling a positive culture of open communication, pride, passion and excellent organisation.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in a manufacturing leadership, production supervision or shift leadership role, or an ambitious lead operative looking to step up into more of a managerial role.
  2. Previous experience leading, developing and motivating teams within an improvement-focused manufacturing setting - assembled product preferred.
  3. Any engineering knowledge is a bonus.
  4. Some knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing and root cause problem-solving tools advantageous.
