We are seeking a skilled Raw Materials Technologist to join our team in Clitheroe for a 12-14 month contract.

As a Raw Materials Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials, working closely with our suppliers and internal teams to achieve this goal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining raw material specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborating with suppliers to obtain product-specific approval documentation and certifications
  • Assessing new raw materials and providing recommendations for their use
  • Supporting profit improvement plans related to raw material supply

Requirements:

  • HND or equivalent in food or related discipline
  • HACCP- Level 2 certification
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Desirable skills include authentication/food connected training, recipe professor training, and allergen training
