About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Amazon EU S.a.r.l (UK Branch) team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the compliance operations of our firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Compliance Activities: Manage the day-to-day activities of our compliance team, including effectively managing our compliance mailbox, reviewing financial promotions, responding to complaints, and submitting regulatory returns.
  • Coordinate Regulatory Projects: Coordinate regulatory and strategic internal projects that impact across our activities, including support in the delivery and ongoing requirements of the Consumer Duty.
  • Develop Compliance Training: Assist Senior Compliance Managers in drafting and delivering key compliance training.
  • Support SMCR: Support in the ongoing delivery of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Maintain Compliance Manual: Maintain our Compliance Manual and ensure it remains effective and up-to-date.
  • Monitor Regulatory Change: Monitor regulatory change and emerging risk from regulatory sources and circulate key developments to internal stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Compliance Experience: Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
  • Confidentiality: Experience handling confidential information.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials; experience with SQL and Excel; experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
