Role Overview

We are seeking a BIM Specialist to join our dynamic team at Tech Buildr. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Design Engineer or a similar professional looking to transition into the software sector.

Tech Buildr is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions tailored for the construction industry. Our innovative tools are designed to streamline the creation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy for thousands of clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

As a technical authority within our team, you will:

  • Provide expert support and guidance to the sales team.
  • Engage directly with clients to maximize their software investment.
  • Utilize your MEP design experience to assist customers in achieving optimal software usage.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • A minimum of 1 year of successful experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer within the UK MEP Building Services sector.
  • Experience with Revit MEP or a similar software on at least one completed project, ideally from initiation to handover.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and future demands within the UK MEP Building Services sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
