Job Title: HVAC BIM Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HVAC BIM Specialist to join our team at David Leslie Ltd. As a leading provider of HVAC services, we require a professional with expertise in BIM modeling, HVAC design principles, and clean room standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems in laboratories and clean rooms.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other trades to ensure an integrated design approach across all building systems.
  • Create and maintain accurate, data-rich BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and other industry-standard software.
  • Implement and adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and workflows.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to provide clash detection and resolve issues early in the design process.
  • Prepare 2D/3D design documentation and drawings for internal review and client submissions.
  • Support project teams by providing technical guidance on HVAC systems for labs and clean rooms.
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews of BIM models to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a HVAC BIM Specialist with a focus on laboratories, clean rooms, and controlled environments.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and clean room standards.
  • Familiarity with BIM level 2 and other UK BIM standards.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and resolve conflicts in model designs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly.

Remuneration Package:

£45,000 - £50,000 according to experience, Private Healthcare, Bonus scheme, Pension, Company Events, Phone and Laptop, 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
