EMEA Reinsurance Growth Strategy Manager

This position is part of the Reinsurance Strategy and Execution Team, strategically aligned with the EMEA Growth Team to enhance local initiatives and ensure effective regional execution in line with global Reinsurance strategic goals and best practices.

Success in this role requires a deep understanding of regional business demands, fostering robust partner relationships, and effectively balancing local and global priorities. The EMEA Reinsurance Growth Strategy Manager will collaborate closely with the EMEA Strategic Growth Leader to implement global growth strategies and local adaptations, encompassing business processes, technologies, tools, and systems.

In this capacity, the EMEA Reinsurance Growth Strategy Manager will play a crucial role in empowering the regional team to make informed decisions on strategic and tactical issues, facilitate data-driven discussions, and enhance the capacity of broking teams to engage with clients and trading partners, ultimately driving New/New business outcomes in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist EMEA Growth leaders in strategic business planning to achieve regional growth targets:
  • Align with global growth objectives
  • Evaluate trade-offs and prioritize local initiatives
  • Provide guidance on resource distribution
  • Monitor performance against growth objectives and investments using global tools
  • Organize messaging and prepare materials for leadership reviews
  • Develop business cases for investment opportunities
  • Represent EMEA growth teams, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of regional business needs and challenges to enhance global tools and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with broking and other business functions (risk, operations, finance, HR, etc.) to expedite critical programs and initiatives for regional growth
  • Create local execution roadmaps and accelerate implementation
  • Deploy global tools and reporting frameworks while addressing local nuances to ensure sustainable adoption through behavioral change
  • Identify potential project risks and devise effective mitigation strategies
  • Proactively suggest and implement continuous business improvements to support margin expansion and growth
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the (Re)Insurance Sector
  • Proven project management experience across regional businesses
  • Experience in formulating and executing strategic plans to drive growth
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to the overall strategic business agenda and influence decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • An analytical and commercial mindset, capable of balancing strategic requirements with timely execution to achieve business results
  • Strategic problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
  • Experience collaborating across various business units such as HR, Finance, Legal, and IT, with the ability to manage and leverage resources within a complex global matrix structure
