EMEA Growth Strategy & Execution Manager

This position is integral to the Reinsurance Strategy and Execution Team, working closely with the EMEA Growth Team to enhance local initiatives and ensure a cohesive regional execution aligned with global Reinsurance strategic goals and best practices.

Success in this role hinges on a deep understanding of regional business requirements, fostering robust partner relationships, and effectively balancing local and global demands. The EMEA Growth Strategy & Execution Manager will collaborate with the EMEA Strategic Growth Leader to localize global growth initiatives and transformations, encompassing business processes, technologies, tools, and systems.

By doing so, the EMEA Growth Strategy & Execution Manager will play a pivotal role in empowering the regional team to make informed decisions on strategic and tactical issues, engage in data-driven discussions, and enhance the capacity of broking teams to focus on client and trading partner interactions, ultimately driving New/New business outcomes in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist EMEA Growth leaders in strategic business planning to achieve regional growth targets:
  • Align with global growth objectives
  • Evaluate trade-offs and prioritize local initiatives
  • Provide guidance on resource distribution
  • Monitor performance against growth objectives and investments using global tools
  • Structure communications and coordinate materials for leadership reviews
  • Develop business cases for funding
  • Represent EMEA growth teams, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of regional business needs and challenges to refine global tools, frameworks, and reporting
  • Collaborate with broking and other business units (risk, operations, finance, HR, etc.) to expedite critical programs and initiatives for regional growth
  • Create local execution roadmaps and facilitate their implementation
  • Deploy global tools, frameworks, and reporting systems while addressing local nuances to ensure sustainable adoption through behavioral change
  • Identify project risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies
  • Proactively suggest and implement continuous business improvements to support margin growth and expansion
Qualifications and Skills for Success
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the (Re)Insurance industry
  • Proven project management experience across regional operations
  • Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to the overall strategic business agenda and influence decision-making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with presentation abilities
  • An analytical and commercial mindset, capable of balancing strategic needs with timely execution for business results
  • Strategic problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
  • Experience collaborating across various business units (HR, Finance, Legal, IT) and adept at managing resources within a complex global matrix structure
