We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Operative to join our team at Selfridges. As a Stock Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of stock in our warehouse and store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the organization and prioritization of deliveries to ensure timely receipt and processing of stock.
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to manage the intake and distribution of deliveries, ensuring all stock is accounted for and processed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure all paperwork is up-to-date.
  • Ensure the loading dock and surrounding areas are kept clear and organized, with all back-of-house areas and fire exits maintained.
  • Manage the movement of stock between various locations, including the effective operation of forklifts and other machinery.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure all functions are aware of incoming deliveries and any issues that may arise.
  • Distribute deliveries to the correct designated areas, ensuring all stock is accurately accounted for.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
