Position Overview

A prestigious Accountancy Firm is seeking a Senior Accountancy Executive to enhance their proficient team. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced Manager eager to embrace greater responsibilities. Candidates must hold ACA/ACCA qualifications.

This position represents a significant advancement for a Manager who feels they have reached a plateau in their career. The potential for growth is boundless, and any personal development initiatives and additional responsibilities will be acknowledged and rewarded. There is considerable earning potential for individuals who have already obtained their Practicing Certificate.

The Senior Accountancy Executive will manage a diverse client portfolio, including agricultural, corporate, and individual clients. The successful applicant will participate in the management team, attending strategic meetings to evaluate the operational direction of the firm.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess prior managerial experience within an Accountancy Firm. Those with an existing Practicing Certificate and experience in client interactions and account sign-offs will have a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert compliance, taxation, and management accounting advice to clients, providing professional insights to enhance their business performance.

Collaborate closely with clients to formulate, execute, and assess strategic plans, aiding them in establishing both personal and business objectives, as well as supporting business growth and succession planning when applicable.

Analyze, interpret, and effectively communicate financial information and the implications of business decisions to non-financial managers.

Foster strong client relationships and actively seek to build connections with potential clients.

Participate in networking events and proactively identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Oversee an established client portfolio and ensure efficient workflows across various departments.

Negotiate and agree on fees with clients.

Engage with clients through face-to-face meetings, emails, and phone calls, addressing their accounting inquiries.

Guide and mentor junior team members.

Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team.

Consistently provide exceptional service.

Utilize Cloud-based Accountancy software.

Applications are encouraged from established Partners with a Practicing Certificate, as well as those aspiring to join as a Junior Partner, who will receive comprehensive support, mentorship, and training to work towards obtaining a Practicing Certificate.
