CAMHS Community Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Psychologist to join our CAMHS Learning Disability/Autism Service in Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe Learning Disability and complex mental health needs.
Working closely with our clinical lead and other disciplines, you will contribute to the development of our psychological offer, shape the culture of the team, and provide effective supervision, training, and leadership. You will also be part of the county-wide child psychology team, making innovative contributions to ongoing service improvement and compassionate care.

Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality assessments, psychological formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
- Develop and deliver a variety of interventions, including individual and group work, to meet the needs of our service users.
- Contribute to the development of the consultation offer to the wider CAMHS service for young people with mild Learning Disability or complex neurodevelopmental needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing consultation and supervision, and developing psychological knowledge within the team.
- Support the development of innovative and effective ways of working, participating in systematic clinical governance, and contributing to the leadership team.
- Supervise and support the development of other psychologists and psychological therapists in the team, including trainee clinical psychologists on placement.
