Clinical Psychologist Paediatric Respiratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nottingham Children's Hospital, working in the Paediatric Respiratory service. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with respiratory conditions, helping them to better manage their psychological distress and achieve better treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide consultation, direct work, and attend multidisciplinary clinics.
- Develop and implement individualised psychological interventions to support children and young people with respiratory conditions.
- Provide training and supervision to other healthcare professionals as required.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research and participate in research studies as appropriate.

Requirements- Completed (or due to complete in 2023/24) postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024).
- Experience of working with children and adults with physical health problems, or with children or adults with mental health problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, highly technical and clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues.
