We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people with respiratory conditions.
Main Duties- Work with children and young people through consultation, direct work, and multidisciplinary clinics
- Provide clinical psychology services to support children and young people with respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with the medical service team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions to support children and young people with respiratory conditions
- Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for children and young people
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and growing Clinical Psychology Department, which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Child and Adult Neuropsychology. The department offers opportunities for continued professional development, clinical supervision, and research.
Requirements- Completed or due to complete a postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to qualify for registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
The postholder will be based at the Children's Hospital QMC campus and will be required to work on days to suit the service. Up-to-date immunisations, including TB and HepB, are required for this role.
