Nottingham University Hospitals NHS is seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our Paediatric Respiratory Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with experience in working with children and adults with physical health problems, or with children or adults with mental health problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for exercising clinical responsibility for client's psychological care and treatment, teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision, and carrying out research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical psychology services to patients within the Paediatric Respiratory Unit, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological issues.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct research to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Teach, train, and supervise junior staff members and students.
- Must have a doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology and current HCPC registration.
- Experience in working with children and adults with physical health problems, or with children or adults with mental health problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- A competitive salary of £51,411 - £85,420 per annum, depending on experience.
