We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Respiratory team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with respiratory health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide consultation, direct work, and attend multidisciplinary clinics.
- Develop and implement effective psychological interventions to support children and young people with respiratory health conditions.
- Provide training and supervision to other healthcare professionals as required.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research and participate in research projects as needed.
- Completed or due to complete a postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024.
- Experience of working with children and adults with physical health problems or mental health problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, carers, and other professional colleagues.
