Clinical Psychologist Paediatric Respiratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Respiratory team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people with respiratory conditions.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide consultation to staff, direct work with children and young people, and attend multidisciplinary clinics
- Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help children and young people manage their respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Clinical Psychology Department, which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Child and Adult Neuropsychology. The department has a commitment to clinical research and offers opportunities for continued professional development and clinical supervision.
Requirements:- Completed (or due to complete in 2023/24) postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024)
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
