We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Influencing Coordinator to join our team at Students' Union UCL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that support our policy and national influencing capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide, develop, and support strategies that enhance our policy and national influencing capacity.
  • Contribute to the development of influencing strategies that deliver change locally and nationally.
  • Maintain relationships with local and national movements and organisations, including relevant regulators, to enhance the impact of our campaigning and influencing work.
  • Support the contribution to University decision-making bodies, formulating reports and consultation responses, as directed by line manager.
  • Horizon scan and scrutinise relevant evidence, trends, and datasets to identify student issues and support student officers and representatives to translate these into change objectives and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of National and Regional influencing.
  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively on own initiative and experience of working effectively in a team.
