About the Role:The Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that Yorkshire Water's technology policies, standards, and practices are documented and aligned with best practices
- Conducting technology risk assessments, audits, and reviews to identify and evaluate technology risks and controls
- Providing guidance on technology governance, risk, and compliance issues to various teams and projects across the organization
- Supporting the GRC Manager in managing external stakeholders and other water companies to maintain strong working relationships
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong knowledge and understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, standards, and methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Solid interpersonal skills to communicate complex IT risk and compliance issues to various audiences
- Enthusiasm for initiative, creativity, and innovation, and the ability to keep up with the changing IT environment and technologies
- Experience working with legal, risk, audit, and compliance staff and a good knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
