Job Title: Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst

Yorkshire Water is seeking a highly skilled Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Information & Cyber Security team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of technology risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting technology risk assessments, audits, and reviews to identify and evaluate technology risks and controls.
  • Providing guidance on technology governance, risk, and compliance issues to various teams and projects across Yorkshire Water.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of technology policies, standards, and practices aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborating with the Technology & Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager to ensure effective risk management processes.
  • Providing technical and GRC analyst support in technology-related incidents and assisting in the notification of relevant authorities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to communicate complex IT risk and compliance issues to various audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for initiative, creativity, and innovation in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Practical experience of carrying out technology compliance reviews and audits.
