Job Title: Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst

Yorkshire Water is seeking a highly skilled Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Information & Cyber Security team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of technology risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting technology risk assessments, audits, and reviews to identify and evaluate technology risks and controls.
  • Providing guidance on technology governance, risk, and compliance issues to various teams and projects across Yorkshire Water.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of technology policies, standards, and practices aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborating with the GRC Manager and GRC Specialist to manage external stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships with other water companies.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, standards, and methodologies, such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate IT risks and controls.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate and present complex IT risk and compliance issues to various audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for initiative, creativity, and innovation, with the ability to keep up with the changing IT environment and technologies.
