The Role:

We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to join our client's dynamic team in London. In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving merchant acquisition by identifying potential customers, generating business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the revenue team to contribute to achieving company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services and effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients.
  • Implement a systematic approach to identify prospective customers and generate new business opportunities within the e-commerce sector.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on account list building and qualification processes.
  • Proactively contact potential customers, schedule meetings, and follow up on leads to nurture relationships.
  • Track sales progress meticulously and contribute to developing strategies to achieve targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage leads, activities, and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and insights to the revenue team.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams to ensure commercial success.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the fintech or e-commerce industry.
  • A successful track record in business development and relationship building with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and a strong understanding of effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
