The Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our busy HR team at Bayman Atkinson Smythe Limited. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for building a diverse and qualified talent pipeline, ensuring that the right people are in place to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the Engineering and Fluid Power industry.
  2. Source and engage candidates using various direct sourcing methods, including social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
  3. Screen, shortlist, and endorse candidates for open and projected job positions, ensuring a thorough understanding of each role's requirements.
  4. Build and maintain a robust and diverse talent pipeline for immediate and future hiring needs, focusing on key roles within manufacturing and engineering.
  5. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a background in Engineering and the Fluid Power industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in Engineering talent acquisition or recruitment, typically 5+ years.
  • A proficiency in conducting different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.).
  • A strong ability to source and engage candidates using various direct sourcing methods.
  • An understanding of the Fluid Power industry.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Experience with HR systems and in-house recruitment solutions.
