Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom Troy Medicare Full time

About Troy Medicare

Established by independent pharmacists in 2018, Troy Medicare was created to provide a health plan option that is both comprehensive and user-friendly for all members. Today, Troy Medicare proudly serves thousands of Medicare-eligible low-income beneficiaries in some of the most underserved areas across the United States.

Position Overview

This role is remote but requires travel within the designated territory.

Job Summary

Troy Medicare is seeking a Territory Manager responsible for overseeing relationships with providers, pharmacies, and senior members (both current and prospective) within a specified region. The Territory Manager will engage with seniors (and those transitioning into the Medicare system) to assist them in understanding Medicare insurance and their available options.

The Territory Manager will ensure that pharmacies and provider offices are actively involved in the care coordination for each member. They will facilitate the enrollment process for Troy members to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and address any challenges that may arise throughout the duration of membership. The Territory Manager will keep teams informed about provider network updates, performance objectives, and necessary knowledge to meet their targets.

The role requires meeting daily and weekly call volumes, enrollment targets, and engagement metrics. Additionally, building strong relationships across the Troy Medicare organization is essential. While this is a remote position, local travel within the assigned territory is necessary to visit pharmacies, participate in community events, and meet with provider offices. A computer and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key pharmacies and providers to enhance enrollment and resolve issues.
  • Assist pharmacies with enrollment process guidelines and provide training as necessary.
  • Conduct outreach calls to potential senior members to drive enrollment.
  • Support seniors by addressing enrollment inquiries.
  • Handle inbound calls from seniors interested in enrolling in Troy Medicare.
  • Engage with physician offices in person to discuss joining the Troy Medicare network.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Troy Medicare team to proactively address issues.
  • Assist seniors with inquiries related to claims, billing, care options, and other customer support challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare support (e.g., collections, scheduling, customer service, or billing in a dental office, physician's office, hospital, or pharmacy), prior Medicare or healthcare sales experience, social services with senior populations, or counseling experience.
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
  • Must obtain a North Carolina insurance license within 30 days, with costs covered by the company.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary of $45,000
  • Quarterly bonus commission
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Remote work options
Troy Medicare is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants and employees are considered for positions and evaluated without regard to mental or physical disability, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, military or veteran status, sex, marital status, gender identity, or any other protected status unrelated to job performance.
