We are seeking to hire a dedicated part-time or full-time Patient Care Support Specialist to enhance our clinical team (compensation based on experience).

Sunny Meed Surgery is a reputable and welcoming training facility with a committed clinical and administrative workforce. Our clinical team comprises GPs, Paramedic Practitioners, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support specialists. The practice is backed by an experienced administrative team, including secretaries, administrators, care coordinators, and receptionists.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting blood tests, new patient assessments, NHS health evaluations, ECGs, spirometry, smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, ABPMs, ear syringing, hormone replacement therapy checks, and diabetes assessments.
  • Providing chaperoning services.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of medical equipment.
  • Managing vaccine and cold chain storage, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Restocking and rotating medical supplies and vaccines.
  • Organizing and replenishing consulting rooms.
  • Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during, and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs with minor procedures.
  • Aiding in the evaluation and monitoring of patients' health and well-being.
  • Performing specific clinical tasks for designated patients as delegated and trained.
  • Promoting awareness of health and well-being and strategies for enhancement.
