We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated graduate to fill the role of Mental Health Support Worker. This position involves working with young people who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEMH needs, providing support and assistance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Assist class teachers in delivering core subject material and promoting a positive learning environment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
- A graduate with a strong academic record (2:1 or 1st Class degree)
- A passion for working with young people and supporting their mental health and wellbeing
- A can-do attitude and ability to work effectively in a team
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people
- A good understanding of SEN and SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and other related conditions
- A competitive daily rate of £105-£110
- A long-term, full-time contract with Monday to Friday working hours
- The opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team at EdEx Education Recruitment
