Baltic Recruitment is supporting a leading Print & Packaging company in finding a skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide emergency response to production equipment and services as required.
  2. Perform regular planned maintenance, adhering to the schedule.
  3. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on projects, offering assistance with design, specification, purchasing, and installation.
  4. Contribute ideas to improve engineering aspects on site.
  5. Accurately document records and maintenance of equipment.
  6. Support site management in maximizing machine utilization.
  7. Ensure mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance are completed.
  8. Monitor production equipment performance, noting problem areas and suggesting improvements.
  9. Account for items removed from stores and maintain relevant records.
  10. Maintain a safe system of work and risk assessments throughout daily duties.
  11. Organize external service engineers and contractors, ensuring safe systems of work.
  12. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the company's health and safety procedures and statutory requirements.

Key Requirements:

  1. Relevant engineering qualification, electrical, and time-served experience.
  2. Similar experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  3. Experience working with motors, drives, PLCs, gearboxes, and transmissions.
