Position Overview

Albany Growth is currently seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Technical Co-Founder for one of our esteemed clients operating within the B2B SaaS sector. This organization is situated in London and is in search of a seasoned Director/CTO capable of guiding the company through its growth phases, including Series B and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

  • A proven technology leader with extensive experience in scaling teams and formulating engineering strategies in a data-centric B2B SaaS environment.
  • A candidate who has successfully navigated a business from Seed funding to Series B and is eager to replicate this success.
  • An individual committed to driving Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to exceed £15 million.
  • A collaborative team player who can engage effectively with the two Co-Founders, serving as a third (Technical) Co-Founder.
  • Willingness to work from the London office at least three days a week.

Technical Expertise Required:

  • In-depth technical knowledge essential for developing SaaS products.
  • The ideal candidate will be the most technically proficient individual in the room, providing high-level insights and advice on product-related inquiries to the board.
  • A demonstrated history of building high-performance systems, particularly in the context of platform rebuilds rather than greenfield projects, as this role will involve more complexity.
  • Leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more members.
  • Comprehensive full-stack engineering experience; familiarity with technologies such as Python and JavaScript, as well as API development, is preferred. Experience in AI and machine learning is also advantageous.
