Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Hospice at Home team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that patients and their families receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Hospice at Home team, including maintaining accurate records, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and meet the required standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the hospice's vision and values.
- Participate in training and development opportunities, ensuring that you have the skills and knowledge required to perform your role effectively.
- Good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
- Self-motivator, flexible approach, and team player.
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines.
