Project Engineer Role

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Bedford, UK. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Project Manager and project team in the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct site surveys and investigations to identify project requirements.
  2. Coordinate and review survey reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Attend HAZOP, ALM, HAZCON, and HAZCOM meetings to provide technical support to the Project Manager.
  4. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues.
  5. Assist the Project Manager in setting up and enabling project sites, including water and electric connections.
  6. Prepare and maintain H&S documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans, and site H&S files.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mechanical engineering or workshop environment.
  2. Strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to managing national and local suppliers.
  3. Responsible for purchasing within agreed limits as directed by Project Managers and the Senior Management Team.
