Project Engineer Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Bedford, UK. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Project Manager and project team in the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee site survey investigations to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Coordinate, review, and distribute survey reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform material take-offs from fabrication drawings, site GA's, valve & instrument schedules, and standard specifications.
  • Manage procurement by obtaining quotations and issuing Purchase Orders to suppliers.
  • Attend HAZOP, ALM, HAZCON, HAZCOM meetings to assist the Project Manager.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Aid the Project Manager in site setup and enabling, including water and electric connections.
  • Assist in the preparation of H&S documentation, including Risk Assessments/Method Statements, Construction Phase Plans, Traffic Management Plans, and Site H&S files.
  • Maintain and update all project records within the project files.
