Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Stress Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex stress analysis and structural design work to support the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stress analysis and structural design work to support the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and guidelines for stress analysis and structural design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that engineering designs meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering reports, technical notes, and design specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and structural design.
- Advanced degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of stress analysis and structural design principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D modeling systems, such as CATIA.
- Experience with finite element analysis software, such as FEMAP/PATRAN with Nastran.
- Experience with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis techniques and software.
- Experience with composite repair techniques and software.
