Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for performing complex stress analysis and structural design work to support the development and production of our aircraft products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis and structural design work to support aircraft development and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and structural design
- Advanced degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of stress analysis and structural design principles and practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D modeling systems (CATIA)
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEMAP/PATRAN with Nastran)
- Experience with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis techniques and software
