Job Description

Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for performing complex stress analysis and structural design work to support the development and production of our aircraft products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis and structural design work to ensure the integrity and safety of our aircraft products.
  • Develop and implement stress analysis methods and techniques to improve the quality and effectiveness of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex engineering issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in stress analysis and structural design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and structural design.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D modeling systems and finite element analysis software.
  • Knowledge of fatigue and damage tolerance analysis techniques and software.
  • Experience with composite repairs and structural repair manuals.
