Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Making Space, a leading provider of mental health services. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with complex mental health conditions, providing person-centred care and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring values-based support is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Support adults with mental health illnesses on a person-centred basis, following care plans and administering medication as required.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless support and care.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
