About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior HSE Coordinator to join our team at Alfanar Projects. As a key member of our site team, you will provide comprehensive support to our site HSE Manager, contributing to the development and implementation of our health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of accurate records, conduct inspections, and monitor activities to ensure compliance with our company's SHEQ processes and procedures.
  • Manage and update our company's MS SharePoint database for all company policies and procedures.
  • Support the production of risk assessments and development of safe systems of work.
  • Record and track follow-up actions from internal and external audits, accident investigations, and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Manager to conduct incident investigations and reports.
  • Support the EHS function with health and safety training and awareness programs.
  • Implement and support the company's QHSE policies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Compile and present HSE data and reports for site and corporate submissions.
  • Conduct routine workplace inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification, with a strong desire to obtain the NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A driven personality with a strong ambition to advance in a career in Health and Safety Management.
