Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Junior HSE Coordinator to join our team at our Teesside site. The successful candidate will provide critical support to our site HSE Manager, assisting with the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of company records, inspections, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with SHEQ processes and procedures.
  • Support the production of risk assessments and development of safe systems of work.
  • Record and track follow-up actions from internal and external audits, accident investigations, and compliance audits.
  • Support the EHS Manager in conducting incident investigations and reports.
  • Support the EHS function with health and safety training and implementation of company QHSE policies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Collate and prepare HSE data and presentations for site and submission of corporate weekly and monthly Health and Safety KPI reports.
  • Perform routine workplace inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Platforms (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Driven personality with ambition to further a career in Health and Safety Management.
