Senior Commercial Property Claims Handler

We are excited to be working with a leading global insurer, operating across 50+ countries with a large team of professionals across all product lines. Due to continued growth and internal opportunities, there are several openings for Senior Commercial Property Claims Handlers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Property Claims Team Leader, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 250 files, from inception through to final resolution.
  • You will assist direct customers as well as brokers, to help navigate them through the claims process, while providing a high level of customer service.
  • You will be joining an established team, where you can benefit from the experience of others and also help to mentor and develop those less experienced than yourself.
  • In addition, you will have a personalized career development plan, and you will be supported to reach your career ambitions.
Requirements:
  • You must have experience in dealing with commercial property losses within an insurer environment.
  • You will have a keen eye for detail, work accurately in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • While not a prerequisite, holding relevant professional qualifications, such as CII, would be beneficial.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive basic salary up to £40,000, based on experience.
  • A 35-hour working week, with hybrid working options post-induction and in-house training.
  • For those with demonstrable experience in this field, the option to work remotely if not close to a regional office.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including annual performance-related bonus, 25 days' holiday with the option to buy/sell additional days, pension, and life assurance.
