The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the broader Property Management division, managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties while supervising the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily property maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues regarding actions taken, work schedules, and updates.
- Maintain precise records within the property management system.
- Handle invoice management and processing efficiently.
- Source competitive quotes on behalf of property owners.
- Coordinate gas safety certifications.
- Conduct property inspections and generate detailed reports using Inventory Hive.
- Manage deposit returns, mediating between landlords and tenants to address any damages, and liaising with the tenancy deposit scheme as needed.
- Adhere to lettings administrative protocols and all applicable regulations.
- Deliver outstanding client service consistently.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance (mandatory).
- A valid UK driving licence and personal vehicle (mandatory).
- Familiarity with Reapit software (preferred).
- Strong team player with the capability to work independently when necessary.
- Proficient in multitasking and thriving under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
Work Schedule: Standard hours are 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday hours of 9am-1pm on a rotational basis.
Compensation: Salary range of £29,000 - £33,000.
Driving Requirement: Essential (with personal vehicle).
