We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Income Officer to join our team at Bromford. As an Income Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the support they need to manage their income and maintain their tenancies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a patch of around 1000 homes, developing relationships with customers and providing guidance on benefits and income maximisation.
- Provide advice and support to customers experiencing difficulties with rent payments, with a focus on tenancy sustainment.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to find solutions and deliver excellent customer service.
- Have a strong understanding of housing benefit, universal credit, and welfare reform legislation.
- Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, and have a positive attitude and a consistent, engaged team player.
