Procurement and Supplier Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supplier Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Procurement and Outsourcing function, you will play a critical role in shaping our sourcing and supplier management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective sourcing and supplier management practices.
- Implement a standard approach to sourcing, on-boarding, and managing third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment with Aviva Group standards.
- Ensure the rigorous implementation and operational effectiveness of our supplier oversight framework, aligned to Aviva Group standards.
- Develop and maintain good relationships across the business, using your expertise and knowledge to influence stakeholders and gain support.
- Support and coach colleagues and business peers in the adoption of best practice procurement and supplier management processes and methodologies.
- Experience of working in insurance, procurement, financial services, or supply management, with additional experience of sourcing and supplier relationship management, ideally with leadership and coaching experience.
- Knowledge of sourcing and supplier relationship management processes and frameworks, including commercial performance management of contracts and knowledge of supplier risk management techniques, tools, and governance requirements.
- Experience of managing key outsourced relationships, commercial or change projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Previous experience of working within healthcare and/or protection would be an advantage.
- Salary - Circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary, actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's
