Job Title: Director – Travel Retail & Emerging Markets Europe, Middle East & India
Primary Purpose:
The Director will be accountable for the strategic and operational execution of developing, maintaining and accelerating the Travel Retail and Emerging Markets channels. They will also oversee the end-to-end process and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, Logistics, Buying & Marketing.
- Develop and implement Coach's Travel Retail strategy for the EMEAI region, ensuring new businesses, stores, and doors are opened and executed to brand standard.
- Accountability for sales, profit, and brand presence across the Travel Retail & Emerging Market channels, collaborating with key partners and multiple functions across the business.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing support and challenge to business stakeholders, and partnering cross-functionally to develop inventory strategies for each Travel Retail and Emerging Market account.
- Lead a small Sales team, ensuring opportunities are maximised in the immediate term and to support long-term growth across Tapestry's brand portfolio.
- Partner with regional Wholesale Sales Managers and Directors to ensure consistency in assortment and brand representation across hybrid business models within EMEAI.
- 7-10 years' retail / wholesale experience within EMEAI, with 2+ years' experience working within a Travel Retail model, and multi-category experience in a planning environment.
- Numerate with strong analytical skills and financial acumen, and a senior level position within a Global company/brand.
- Solve complex, challenging issues through fresh thinking and resourcefulness.
