About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Project Delivery and Portfolio Management to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the overall project delivery and portfolio management, ensuring the successful execution of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the delivery of all projects and programmes, aligning with our business strategy and objectives.
  • Responsible for the budget management of the Capex portfolio, ensuring effective allocation of resources and optimization of financial performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers and Third Parties, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement quality and governance processes, ensuring quality gates are established and met, and measuring and monitoring through clear established KPIs and reviews.
Requirements
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional departmental leaders.
  • Detailed financial and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to draw out key risks and opportunities, and summarize succinctly both verbally and in report format.
